Our Story
Mission
MGenius Academy (MGA) is dedicated to creating an open, creative space where children can freely explore and engage in an immersive engineering education experience. We aim to enable children to become independent thinkers and unlock their engineering potential.MGA offers STEM education for grades K-8, providing a stimulating environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and innovation. In 2024, MGA proudly integrated the Spark Math mathematics education program to enrich our curriculum and broaden our course offerings.
Philosophy
A key focus at MGA is developing the ability to identify and solve problems. We encourage children to adopt an engineering mindset, which helps them effectively tackle challenges. They can systematically address issues and find innovative solutions by applying critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity. This method enhances their problem-solving abilities and prepares them to think like engineers in real-world scenarios. At MGA, we emphasize the development of thinking skills. We encourage children to approach challenges with engineering and scientific mindsets, using critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity to solve problems and find innovative solutions systematically.
Educational Approach and Environment
MGA independently develops comprehensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational programs and courses, concentrating on mechanics, electronics, and programming. This creates a unique ecosystem for academic content and product integration.
Our innovative approach replicates real-world product development, allowing children to “solve problems like engineers.” Consequently, subjects like 3D printing, robotics, and programming are taught collaboratively and as tools for repeatedly solving problems. Our STEM education programs focus on three core areas: machinery, electronics, and programming. This comprehensive approach forms a unique educational ecosystem and a complete product development loop. Our STEM education method trains children to “solve problems like engineers” by closely mimicking real-life product development processes.
STEM Learning Environment
MGA’s 4,000-square-foot teaching area provides children with professional equipment, including industrial-grade laser printers, high-end 3D printers, gravity car tracks, touch-screen televisions, computers, robots, and specialized electronic engineering teaching aids. Our 1,500-square-foot public area also offers a Lego building zone, interactive electronics, and engineering boards, a professional photography area, reward cabinets, and time clock machines. This environment ensures that children can fully enjoy a respectful, accessible, and enjoyable learning workspace.
